New iPhones, iPods reportedly in Apple's retail system

While we're less than a week out from Apple making the wraps journey next version of the iPhone, new models--yes that is correct, models--of distribute portable devices are already supposedly to use inventory system.

Citing new information from "Mr. X," a frequent leaker of Apple product numbers, 9to5mac reports that two google nexus 4 case new iPhones have appeared nexus 4 case in the company's inventory system alongside three newiPod Touch models.

Before getting too excited, 9to5Mac says the newest models are marked along with the hardware identifier "N90A" rather than the currentiPhone 4's "N90" designation, and can even rather be 8GB variations among the existing iPhone designed for entry-level buyers.

As in your iPods, the three new units carry the "N81A" identifier, which the outlet suggests could merely be to designate new white models. That's versus the "N81" marking on Apple's existing iPod Touch models, that will be just accessible in black.

Notably missing could be a range of model numbers to get new iPhone line. At next week's event, Apple is essentially likely to launch a successor on the iphone4 that improves along the older model that has a faster processor, superior camera, and a noticeably thinner design.

Model numbers are typically on Apple's internal inventory system prior to when the products themselves are released. Money and time that's included updates to Macs not to mention accessories like Apple's Time Capsule line.
